3 Tips To Help You Keep Up With The Constant Social Media Changes

Social media seems to move and change at the speed of light! Here at Supremacy Marketing, keeping up with all the changes is essential in delivering the best social media strategy and tactics to our clients. Here are our top 3 tips for staying on top of the constant social media changes.

1. Subscribe to Publications and Blogs

The easiest way to stay on top of the constant changes we see in social media marketing is to subscribe to publications that cover the latest news, breakthroughs and tools in the social media world. Some of our favorites are Social Media Today and Social Media Examiner. Both blogs have great contributors (including our Co-Founder), who offer deep insights and stay on top of what’s happening. They also send out emails with round ups so you don’t have to dig through all the articles.

Another good tip here is to check out the blogs of the social media networks you’re active on! Not only are they where networks break news, but they offer awesome resources and tips on how to use their platform tools. Here are some useful links:

2. Log In

Our second tip is to simply log in! When a new feature releases on a social media network, they usually announce it to users through in network tutorials. Instagram is great at doing this using Stories every time they introduce a new feature. While we’re here we’ll also encourage you to follow the social media networks of the networks you’re currently on, since they’ll post about what’s going on as well.

3. Ask the experts

Last but not least the easiest way to stay on top of changes in social media marketing are to surround yourself with experts in the field. Ask your social media team or consultant about what’s going on and how you can adjust your strategy accordingly.
